We’ve helped entrepreneurs and businesses turn their ideas into real, market-ready products. Here are just a few projects we’ve worked on and what our clients have to say:
“PrototyperLab were quick and efficient—had our first prototype ready in just two weeks. The whole process was low-risk, making it easy to test new products with our existing customers. At first, I thought we’d use them for development and then move mass production to our factory in China, but their pricing was very competitive. Keeping production with PrototyperLab meant better quality control and ongoing improvements, so there was no reason to take the risk of moving it elsewhere.”
Jared Stephens, UK Entrepreneur – UNICONFETTI
“We found PrototyperLab through a recommendation from another brand, and to be honest, we weren’t sure what to expect. We shared one of our new product ideas and its use case, and within a few days, they had a physical plastic prototype ready. I was seriously impressed! The pricing is super reasonable, which means we can test out even more product idea, especially those with electronics or automation. It’s a huge time-saver for us, letting our team focus more on launching and marketing instead of getting stuck in long development cycles.”

The Torotic Robot makes learning to code fun and hands-on. Unlike complicated robotics kits, it comes ready to use—no tricky assembly required. Kids can write code, upload it, and see their robot move, sing and dance in real life, not just on a screen. Its modular design lets them add different parts, like wheels and legs, for new projects. Even the basic version has built-in sensors, lights, and sounds, so they can create hundreds of cool programs. Affordable, easy to use, and endlessly creative, Torotic Robot is the perfect way for kids to bring their coding skills to life.

Our engineers can recommend the best materials based on your product’s function, durability, and cost requirements.
If you already have a final design, we can build your prototype in 7 days. If you don’t have a design yet, the timeline will depend on the level of research, design, and collaboration needed to develop your product.
Our rate is $25/hour + material costs. The total cost depends on your product’s complexity. If your product is mostly plastic, material costs will be low, and most of the cost will come from engineering time.
We require a 50% deposit for quoted engineering time and 100% of material costs upfront.
Yes. If we are unable to complete your product to the agreed specifications, we will provide a 100% refund, including your deposit.
You can send us your product idea via email or schedule a call to discuss it. We’ll do preliminary research to estimate engineering hours and component costs before providing you with a quote.
We accept credit cards, checks, and ACH payments.
Not at all. Our engineers and project managers communicate in English, and we track projects through our management system or your preferred platform. You’ll receive weekly updates via video conferences, video demos of your prototype, or direct shipment of your prototype anywhere in the world within 7 days.
You can ship directly to our local office in Atlanta. Shipping takes around 7 days each way.
If we determine that we cannot develop or manufacture your product, you will receive a full refund. During our consultation process, we assess feasibility, and if we don’t believe we can deliver, we’ll let you know before starting the project. We also reserve the right to decline projects that aren’t a good fit for our team.
Product prototyping is the process of creating a working model or sample of your product idea. It allows you to test functionality, design, and usability before full-scale production, helping reduce costs and improve the final outcome.
The timeline varies depending on the complexity of the product, materials used, and required revisions. On average, it can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.
We offer a wide range of services including 3D printing, CAD design, rapid prototyping, CNC machining, and material selection to help bring your product ideas to life.
Industrial design focuses on the aesthetics, usability, and functionality of a product, while prototyping involves creating a tangible model to test and refine those design concepts before manufacturing.
Industrial design plays a crucial role in the prototyping process by ensuring that the product is not only functional but also intuitive and aesthetically pleasing. A well-designed prototype helps to test the usability, durability, and overall experience, allowing for early identification of issues before mass production. By incorporating industrial design principles, startups can create prototypes that align with customer needs and expectations. This is especially important in prototype development for startups, where refining the design early can save time and reduce costly mistakes later. Ultimately, good industrial design ensures that prototypes are more efficient, effective, and ready for the market.
Industrial design and prototyping benefit industries that depend on innovation and rapid product development, such as consumer electronics, medical devices, automotive, home appliances, and technology startups. These services help companies quickly validate ideas, test usability, and refine designs before mass production. By reducing risks and speeding up time to market, they enable businesses to launch better products more efficiently.
Custom 3D prototyping is the process of creating physical models of a product design using 3D printing or CNC machining, allowing businesses to test form, fit, and function before full-scale production.
The turnaround time for custom 3D prototypes depends on the complexity of the design and the materials used. However, in a prototype manufacturing lab, many prototypes can be produced within 2-5 business days once the design is finalized. Faster production times may be possible for simpler designs, while more intricate prototypes may take slightly longer. It’s important to communicate your timeline and requirements upfront to ensure the best results within your needed timeframe.
A variety of materials can be used, including PLA, ABS, resin, nylon, and even metal or flexible materials—depending on your product’s needs and the chosen prototyping method.
Let’s talk. We’re happy to walk you through the process and discuss how we can bring your product to life.
