Production-scale injection molding using steel molds

Steel mold tooling is the right choice when you have confirmed demand and you need parts produced consistently at volume — thousands to hundreds of thousands of units. A properly designed steel mold lasts for the life of your product.

We handle the entire process in-house: mold design, CNC machining, EDM pulse machining, wire cutting, finishing, assembly, testing, and injection production. Every stage is done in our ISO-certified facility with no outsourcing of core processes.

This service is for product companies, Amazon sellers, and hardware brands who are ready to move from prototype and small batch into real production-grade manufacturing.

Your mold. Your asset.

The mold we build for you belongs to you. Not us. Three things that matter to every client who asks.

You own the mold

Once your mold is paid for, it is your property. We hold it in our facility for ongoing production, but ownership is entirely yours from the moment the final invoice is settled.

We can ship the mold to you or to another factory

If you decide to move production to a different facility, we will ship your mold directly to your factory or to any manufacturer you choose. No restrictions, no holdbacks.

We will not use your mold while it is idle

Your mold is only run for your orders. We do not use client molds for any other purpose, for any other client, or for any internal testing while your mold is in storage.

Starting from

$3,000

includes 1 steel mold

Our base rate is $25 per hour plus material and tooling costs. The $3,000 starting price covers design and production of one steel mold for a simple single-cavity part. Here is what affects the final injection mold quote:

  • Part complexity — undercuts, side actions, slides, and lifters add machining time and cost to the mold
  • Number of cavities — a single-cavity mold costs less; multi-cavity molds increase tooling cost but reduce per-unit cost at volume
  • Part size — larger parts need bigger mold bases and larger injection machines
  • Surface finish requirement — standard finish, texture, or high-gloss polish each have different polishing costs
  • Steel grade — standard P20 steel suits most applications; H13 or S136 hardened steel is used for abrasive materials or mirror finishes

Three steps from your files to approved parts

01

Send your files and fill out our questionnaire

Share your CAD files, 3D drawings, or sample product. Tell us your target material, quantity, surface finish requirement, and target unit cost. We review and ask the right questions.

Deliverable: Project brief confirmed within 24 hours

02

Receive your injection mold quote within 48 hours

We send an itemized injection molding online quote covering mold design, steel grade, machining, tooling, and production costs. Single-cavity and multi-cavity options presented where relevant.

Deliverable: Itemized quote with timeline and mold options

03

Approve the quote, pay deposit, production begins

A 50% deposit locks in your project. We machine the steel mold, run first article samples for your approval, then start full production. Your mold is your property from the moment it is paid for.

Deliverable: Approved parts delivered. You own the mold.

Frequently asked questions

You do. The mold belongs to you from the moment the final invoice is settled. We hold it in our facility for ongoing production runs, but ownership is entirely yours. If you decide to move production elsewhere, we will ship the mold directly to your chosen factory with no restrictions.

Yes. If you move production to a different facility at any point, we will ship your steel mold directly to that factory. We package molds properly for international freight and can coordinate shipping logistics for you. Your mold is your asset and you can move it whenever you choose.

No. We never use client molds for any purpose other than your own production orders. Your mold sits in secure storage when it is not running your parts. We do not run test shots, use it for other clients, or use it for any internal purpose.

Steel molds are built for production scale — hundreds of thousands of shots with consistent dimensional accuracy. They cost more and take longer to machine, but they are the right choice once your demand is confirmed and you need volume. Aluminum molds are faster and cheaper to machine and suit small batch runs of 50 to a few thousand units. If you are still validating demand, our small batch injection molding service uses aluminum molds and starts at a much lower cost.

Fill out our questionnaire with your design files, target material, quantity, surface finish requirement, and timeline. We review every submission personally and send back an itemized injection molding online quote within 48 hours. The quote covers mold design, steel selection, machining, tooling, and production costs — every line item visible before you commit.

Our facility has 8 CNC milling machines including a Hitachi Seiki VS60 with a 1,200 x 800 x 450mm working envelope. We also run 3 CNC EDM pulse machines including Sodick units, 2 wire cutters, 3 grinding machines, 2 Sanhe laser welding machines for precision mold repair, and 7 additional auxiliary machines. Total capacity is 20 to 30 mold sets per month.

ABS, PP, PE, PC, nylon, TPE, TPU, and most other common thermoplastics. Material selection is guided by your mechanical requirements, surface finish needs, chemical resistance, and end-use environment. We advise on the right material as part of the mold design process.

For a steel mold: 6 to 10 weeks from deposit to first article samples depending on complexity. After first article approval, production runs typically take 1 to 3 additional weeks depending on quantity. Your quote includes a specific milestone timeline before you commit to anything.

Yes. ISO 9001:2015 for quality management, ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management, and ISO 45001:2018 for occupational health and safety. All three certifications are current and valid through 2027. We also run an ERP system for production scheduling, equipment management, and quality control.
